Glenn Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 (edited) This fall looks nasty... Short Article (text below) Svindal injured in heavy crash From correspondents in Beaver Creek, Colorado November 28, 2007 ALPINE world cup overall champion Aksel Lund Svindal fell heavily during the first training run for the downhill race at Beaver Creek, Colorado. The Norwegian, who continued his strong start to the young season with victory in a world cup super-G in Lake Louise, Canada, at the weekend, was taken to hospital in nearby Vail suffering lacerations to his face and a 15cm cut on his left thigh. Svindal, who was conscious when taken to hospital, lost his balance after coming out of the spectacular "Golden Eagle" jump near the end of the course. Ski Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 What happened to Bode? Svindal won the overall last year and is leading the standings again this season. That makes him best in the world no mater what Bode has said about him. Quote
